Was it something I said?

I'm feeling a little lonely over here in blogland at the moment, no comments on my last 2 posts, a girl could think that no-one loves her :)

On a chirpier note, I have been doing some stash re-organisation this weekend, The IK summer tunic, has been completed, was big enough for 2 of me, and so has been ripped back. I have decided to re-knit it with a few alterations, which now I think about it, will mean that it isn't the summer tunic at all, but more on that another day.

I picked up fabulous flirty crochet at my local waterstones last week, and have started a cardigan out of it this week. I had forgotten how quick crochet6 is, and I'm loving that this will be finished do soon.

And now for my best piece of news, Babylonglegs is coming to woolfest with me. We are going to have a girly weekend camping out, so let me know if you are going to be there too, as i would love to meet all of my blogging friends in real life!

I´m here, I´m here! Just lurking lazily in the background... I was really astonished how fine and even your spun singles looked! Didn´t you get your wheel just a few weeks ago?!

hee hee, can't have a Leicester girl feeling lonely! I'm from there myself and came to Australia in the early 80's. Your "teat" sock was pretty funny - I'm not a fan of toe up myself, although I can see the advantage if you're not sure that you have enough yarn :-) Clicking on the Leicester SNB made me a little homesick!

Hi there,

I found your Blog through the Sockapalooza group, and was reading through and noticed that you've had issues with "Curious yarns".

I'm haviong the same issue at the moment - they have my money and have had my order for 3 weeks but don't reply to my emails. Did you have any luck at contacting them? Did you get your money back?

I've just written them a polite but firm letter that I am going to post today, but I wondered if anyone else had even managed to get an email from them.

Hope you did get it sorted out.

I think that it has something to do with bloglines. It hasn't been updating your feed -- it has that funky [!] by it; however I still try to check up on you ;)

Hello,

Thank you for your reply - I will post this letter and see what happens but I think I may well be on a hiding to nothing.

The address on her website suggests that she lives less than a mile from me, and it's very tempting to just go round and ring the doorbell and see what happens! Might not though - you never know!

Thanks for the comments about the socks - i've turned the heel now and I think they are going well. I'd quite like to make the pattern available, so we'll see.

Hello hello - with a wonderful twist of fate you are my first "Random Tuesday Sockpal" - even thought I know it's Wednesday. I've got to love the fact that if you're a Leicester girl, sockpalooza has chosen me a random knitter who lives all of an hour away from me in Warwickshire - what are the chances!

Anyway your tea and coffee dyed socks have brought out lovely soft colours so I hope you'll do a mini tutorial before long - happy sockpaloozing!
